In this my tenth and final year as Headmistress of Withington Girls' School, one of my dearest wishes is that the 100 Plus Bursary Appeal will reach its initial £2million target.
It has been a real privilege and a daily joy to be Headmistress of Withington and I thank all those who have already pledged support to our Bursary Appeal since 2005 and also all those who will help us to the finishing line - especially if we can, together, reach it by August 2010.
The Final Push

The young women at Withington see no barriers and they accept no limitations to their potential.
The 100 Plus Bursary Appeal is an integral function of Withington Girls' School and consolidates its vision and ethos to create a warm community centred on equality and opportunity, irrespective of race, religion, social background and financial constraints.
With a target of £2 million, the 100 Plus Bursary Appeal aims to provide over 100 girls in the Senior School with a means-tested Bursary place every year. With generous benefaction from supporters, this vision can be realised.
The School's Governors, staff and girls are committed to the 100 Plus Bursary Appeal. Please join us in working to ensure that Withington retains its unique position as a true centre of excellence open to all.
